According to the organizing panel, the competition aims to celebrate the 60th founding anniversary of the People’s Police Force (July 20, 1962 - 2022).
The event drew the participation of 1,500 officers and soldiers from 16 public security units in Southern provinces. Among them, nearly 600 are troops from the Mobile Police Command, the Security Guard Police Command, and the Ministry of Public Security.
During the launching ceremony, public security forces gave impressive performances, including cavalry parades, specialized motorbike riding techniques, Qigong, techniques to overcome obstacles, and shooting skills, among others.

Accordingly, the competition took place from July 4 to 6. The 16 participating units include the People’s Police University and police forces of Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, Lam Dong, Tien Giang, Gia Lai, Tra Vinh, Phu Yen, Quang Nam, Ba Ria- Vung Tau, Kien Giang, Quang Binh, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Dak Lak, and Hue.
Participants will compete in three contents, namely line-up regulations, shooting and martial arts performance.
