About 8,000 people joined a launching ceremony for the 45th Hanoimoi Newspaper Run for Peace at My Dinh National Stadium, Hanoi. on March 25.

The final round is scheduled to take place around Hoan Kiem Lake on October 7.

The annual event has been jointly held by the Hanoi municipal People's Committee and the Hanoimoi Newspaper for the past 45 years.

The run has become a regular attraction for the public, particularly among younger generations and has discovered many talents as well as promoted the importance of physical exercise among people.
