GS’s sport tournament concluded

GS Chief and Deputy Defense Minister General Nguyen Tan Cuong attended the event and took part in a friendly pickleball match.

General Nguyen Tan Cuong presents the first-, second- and third-place awards in men's doubles tennis event for players over 50 years of age.

After a series of exciting competitions, which began on August 20, the sports tournament successfully concluded, fulfilling its set requirements. Through the event, the GS continued to promote physical training and improve the health of its officers, soldiers and personnel. The event also served to assess the results of physical training and sports activities at agencies and units, contributing to improving the quality of training and combat readiness, and building comprehensively strong, “typical and exemplary” agencies and units.

At the closing ceremony, General Nguyen Tan Cuong presented awards to winners in the pickleball, tennis and volleyball events.
