This information was unveiled by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences - the organizing panel of the Oscar 2023.

The 92-minute-long documentary tells a story about Di, a 12-year-old girl from the H'mong ethnic minority group, who is confronting with many challenges during her maturity journey, and the clash between traditional customs and modern values.

The nominations will be officially announced on January 24, 2023 while the Oscars ceremony will be held on March 12, 2023, at the Dolby Theater, Hollywood district, Los Angeles.
