Vietnam Writers’ Association honors Literature Award 2020’s winners
PANO – The Executive Committee of the Vietnam Writers’ Association organized its 15th Congress to approve significant contents, during which delegates also considered about the winners of the Literature Awards 2020 and admitted new members.
After careful assessment, the Executive Committee decided to honor the awards to four authors with outstanding literary works.

The work “Culture – Literature under the inter-spatial perspective” |
Particularly, the Literature Awards 2020 were given to poet Tran Kim Hoa for her poem collection “Ben troi” (Beside the sky) as well as writer Xuan Phuong for her work “Ganh ganh gong gong”, respectively.
The work “Culture – Literature under the inter-spatial perspective”, by Associate Professor and Dr. Nguyen Van Dan, received the award in the field of critical theory.
In the literacy translation category, writers Pham Ngoc Thach and Nguyen Bich Lan were awarded for their translation version of “Chernobyl Prayer”, written by Svetlana Alexievich, a Belarusian writer, the Nobel Prize winner in Literature in 2015.
In addition, the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Writers’ Association agreed to suggest the poem collection “Nghe mua” (Listen to the rain) by poet Ha Pham Phu for the upcoming awards of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Association 2020.
On the occasion, 54 writers from various fields were admitted to the association.
