An art performance at the Viet Nam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism

This event was part of a series of tourism promotion activities hosted by the department in 2026. It aims to connect management agencies, experts, associations, and tour operators with destinations, seeking new ways to transform cultural values into attractive and market-linked tourism products.

As part of the program, the delegation surveyed and experienced the cultural space at several typical locations within the village, including the Hung Kings worship area, the Tay ethnic village, the Ta Oi ethnic village, the Khmer pagoda complex, the Cham tower complex, the Khmer ethnic village, the Lake on Mountain landscape, and the Creative Camp accommodation area.

At the promotion conference, delegates discussed new exploitation directions for the Viet Nam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism. Presentations focused on developing the village into a highlight for international tourists, activating a creative tourism ecosystem from a cultural industry perspective, and building unique tourism products. The conference also introduced new products, opening opportunities to integrate the village into Ha Noi’s tour routes and connect it with other local destinations.

Introducing the daily life of the Tay ethnic people to tourists

Through the program, the organizing board hoped to clearly identify the village’s potential while creating a forum for stakeholders to propose new models and exploitation methods. The ultimate goal is to link conservation with development, turn the culture of 54 ethnic groups into a tourism resource, and strengthen ties between the village and the capital city’s network of destinations and travel agencies.
