Lim Festival, which will take place from February 9 to 10 (the 12th and 13th days of the lunar New Year), will be held in Lim township and the communes of Noi Due and Lien Bao of Tien Du district. Known as one of the region's major festivals, Lim Festival highlights the rich cultural and spiritual values of Bac Ninh people.

Nguyen Thi Hao, Vice Chairwoman of the Tien Du district People's Committee and Head of the festival’s steering committee, stated that preparations have been conducted thoroughly, with specific assignments given to all relevant forces.

On February 9 (the 12th day of the lunar New Year), the festival will begin with a ceremonial incense offering at Hong An Pagoda and the tomb of Nguyen Dinh Dien on Lim Hill.

On February 10 (the 13th day of the lunar New Year), a procession will carry the imperial edict from Dinh Ca village's communal house to Lo Bao village's communal house. Traditional worship and incense-offering ceremonies will follow at communal houses, temples, and pagodas in Noi Due and Lien Bao communes as well as and Lim townlet.

At the Lim Hill and Van Tuong Lake areas, traditional games and activities, such as "Quan ho" (Love duet) folk singing, wrestling, blindfolded goat catching, pot smashing, dragon and lion dances will be organized.

The central area will feature "Quan ho" singing tents, folk games, and stalls displaying and selling souvenirs like books, calligraphy, Dong Ho paintings, ceramics, and bamboo crafts.

The district has selected "Quan ho" clubs and artisans, including "lien anh and lien chi" (male and female singers) from traditional villages, to perform at the festival stages and tents.

A low-altitude fireworks display is also scheduled for 9:00 p.m. on the 12th day of the lunar New Year as part of the festival.
