PANO – As many as 1,300 officials, workers, students and foreigners in Hanoi will take part in the 43rd Open Hanoi Newspaper Run Tournament for Peace in 2016 on October 9 around Hoan Kiem Lake.

The event is part of activities in celebration of the 62nd anniversary of Hanoi Liberation Day (October 10).
According to the organizing panel, 250 staff and diplomats from 20 embassies and international organizations in Hanoi will join the tourney and sign on the peace flag.
The tourney will be broadcast live on channel VTV6.
