Thang Long Imperial Citadel and Co Loa relic site highlighted in France
PANO - The Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center held an exhibition on July 6 (local time) to popularize the heritage of Vietnam’s Thang Long Imperial Citadel and Co Loa relic site at the World Heritage Site of the medieval town of Provins, France.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Nguyen Thanh Quang, Director of the Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center, shared that the center introduces images of the Co Loa special national relic site, a heritage element with many similarities to the medieval town of Provins and great potential to become a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site.

He underlined that the exhibition will serve as a bridge, allowing more French and international visitors to learn about Hanoi’s and Vietnam’s heritage. It also marks a new phase of cooperation between the two sides, following the agreement signed on October 1, 2024.
Under the deal, the two sides will enhance cooperation in exhibitions, tourism promotion, internships, experience exchange, international seminars and academic discussions, and technical support to further bring into play the values of Co Loa.
