The highlight of the festival is the calligraphy giving activity at 35 booths hosted by carefully-selected calligraphers. Additionally, the event offers diverse activities such as heritage education programs, a reading culture space, introductions to craft village products, folk games, and traditional art performances like Quan ho (love duet), Ca tru (ceremonial singing), and Cheo (traditional opera).

Visitors can also enjoy the exhibition “Trace of Civilization 4” themed “Millennium of Learning,” alongside two permanent exhibitions: “The First National University” and “Igniting the Path of Learning,” as well as thematic displays “The horse returns to the city” and “Stone steles preserving history.” The event will run until March 1.

Themed “National Learning,” this year’s festival marks the 950th anniversary of the establishment of Quoc Tu Giam, Vietnam’s first university. The event signifies a clear innovation in spatial organization at the Van Lake area, harmonizing traditional elements with a modern spirit. Functional areas are scientifically planned, including art exhibitions, heritage and craft village experiences, calligraphy giving zones, and culinary culture spaces.
