Spring calligraphy festival 2023 opened at Temple of Literature Relic
PANO - The Center for Scientific and Cultural Activities of the Temple of Literature launched the spring calligraphy festival 2023 on January 15 at Van (Literature) Lake in the Temple of Literature Relic Site in Hanoi.

The festival, opened after two years of hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, aims to uphold the national tradition of thirst for knowledge, respect for teachers and religion.
In this festival, fifty calligraphers introduce to local people and visitors beautiful letters with good meaning, promoting the spirit of study and rising in life among young generation and contributing to improving aesthetics and knowledge of calligraphy of calligraphy-lovers in particular and the public in general.

Apart from letters, visiting the festival, visitors have chances to learn more about traditional trade villages such as do paper, silk, lacquer, ceramic, join folk games, enjoy national art performance and lantern release festival.
The spring calligraphy festival will last until January 29.
