PANO – Vietnamese and Japanese rock bands will take part in an exciting night, “Go! Go! Japan! Rock Festival 2013”, organized by the Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam and Rockpassion.vn in Van Ho Exhibition Center in Hanoi on November 16th.
The event with the participation of three Japanese rock bands of OKAMOTO’S, THE TON-UP MOTORS and RYUKYUDISKO and two Vietnamese bands, Thuy Trieu Do and Oringchains, the winner of “The Tiger Translate Battle of the Bands 2012”, is part of activities to mark the 40th anniversary of establishment of Vietnam-Japan diplomatic ties and Vietnam-Japan Friendship Year 2013.
Launched for the first time last year in Hanoi, the “Go! Go! Japan! Rock Festival” aimed to give Japan more energy to overcome the aftermaths of the double natural disaster of tsunami and earthquake on March 11th, 2011 and celebrate the on-going solidarity between Japan and Vietnam.
Free tickets are distributed at the Japan Foundation at 27 Quang Trung, Hoan Kiem, Rockpassion.vn at 66, alley 40, Ta Quang Buu, Café M Day at 110 Cau Giay and Major 7 Café, alley 95 Chua Boc.
