Photos and documents of Hanoi’s old citadel gates to be exhibited
PANO - On October 2, the Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center announced a series of exhibitions on Hanoi’s old citadel gates on the occasion of 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the capital city of Vietnam (October 10, 1954 - 2024).

Accordingly, the document exhibition “Hanoi and its old citadel gates” is hosted by the center, in association with functional agencies in order to introduce the history of Hanoi’s gates associated with the history of the Thang Long - Hanoi Citadel.
Meanwhile, another exhibition is expected to showcase about 170 archival documents and photos, divided into three parts highlighting changes and developments of Hanoi’s old citadel gates in many different historical periods, especially from the 19th century to present.
These two exhibitions will be opened from October 5 at the Central Sector of Thang Long Imperial Citadel at 9C Hoang Dieu Street, Ba Dinh district, Hanoi.
