The event brought together over 40,000 spectators and 2,000 artists, actors, and officers and soldiers of the military and the public security force, featuring large-scale 3D mapping, laser, and pyrotechnic firework displays.
Since the afternoon, large crowds had flocked to the stadium area. Many young people enthusiastically brought national flags and light sticks, and wore shirts printed with “Proud to be Vietnamese.” As the program began, tens of thousands of flashlights from the stands simultaneously lit up, creating a shimmering “sea of stars.”

The armed forces’ real-scene parade creates a highlight for the program. |
The program was directed by the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Information and Education, and Mass Mobilization, and co-organized by Vietnam Television, the Hanoi municipal People’s Committee, and Netmedia Company. The event served as a cultural highlight to celebrate the success of the 14th National Party Congress and the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day. Thereby, it aimed to spread the spirit of great national solidarity and arouse the aspiration for national development in the new period.
The program consisted of two main parts. Part I, featuring the chapters “Epic on bronze drums,” “Echoes of history,” and “Aspiration of Vietnam,” recreated the flow of culture and history from the origins to the present. Part II was the music festival “Exploding sounds - Brightening the sky,” aiming to urge younger generations’ spirit of dedication.

The highlight of the event was the real-scene parade “Peaceful Fatherland” with the participation of over 1,000 officers and soldiers of the military and the public security force. The performance portrayed the armed forces silently safeguarding the country’s peace, from the vast sea and windy borders to every street.
The event concluded with a brilliant firework display, reflecting every citizen’s pride and confidence in the nation’s bright future.
