Memorial site for Prof. Tran Dai Nghia to be built
PANO – The Ministry of National Defence handed over VND 2 billion in cash to the Vinh Long provincial People’s Committee on October 4th to construct a memorial site for Professor, Academician, Major-General Tran Dai Nghia.

PANO – The Ministry of National Defence handed over VND 2 billion in cash to the Vinh Long provincial People’s Committee on October 4th to construct a memorial site for Professor, Academician, Major-General Tran Dai Nghia.
General Nghia, also named Hero of Vietnam's military technology, had made great contributions to the national liberation and reunification.
Deputy Chairman of the Committee Nguyen Van Thanh thanked the ministry for its practical support and pledged to ensure the project progress and its quality.
The project, covering an area of more than 16,000sq.m in My Phu 1 hamlet, Tuong Loc commune, Tam Binh district, Vinh Long province will be built with total investment of VND 51 billion, including various structures, such as a memorial house, a gallery, a library, a conference hall, a screening room and a large yard.
The construction is to be started next month and finished by the end of 2015.
