th at the My Son Heritage Site in the central province of Quang Nam by Indian and Vietnamese artists.
The show was part of an India – Vietnam cultural exchange programme jointly held by the Indian Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City and the Provincial People’s Committee.
While local artists performed Champa dances with the Saranai music instrument, foreign dancers, Aruna Mohanty, Junhabi Behera, Bijaya Kumar Sahoo and Leema Bhol, presented the Odissi dance amid deafening applause by the audience.
Odissi is one of the oldest Indian dances and has special movements. Currently, Aruna Mohanty is a famous Odissi dancer.
