The “Happiness Train” aims to turn each carriage into a “tourism ambassador.”

The “Happiness Train” immediately captures attention with its refreshed appearance, with images of the national flag alongside the emblem of Nhan Dan Newspaper prominently displayed on the train’s exterior. This is the result of close coordination between the railway sector and its partners, aiming to transform each carriage into a “tourism ambassador” that promotes regional cuisine, people, and cultural identity along the length of the S-shaped country.

Speaking at the ceremony, Le Quoc Minh, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Information, Education, and Mass Mobilization, and President of the Vietnam Journalists Association said, “The Happiness Train reflects our desire to rekindle trust, pride, and a joyful spirit, so that every citizen can feel that happiness begins with the simplest things.”

Beyond its new appearance, the core value of the program lies in its spirit of compassion. At the launch ceremony, leaders of the participating units presented 100 gift packages to the first passengers traveling aboard the Happiness Train.

Notably, the “Happiness Train” operating on New Year’s Eve will become a special space of togetherness on the rails, where passengers receive lucky money and share New Year wishes, erasing distances among regions at the very moment of transition between the old year and the new.
