The light of trust

The program featured four documentary pieces and 11 artistic performances, helping the audience understand the immense and noble values of the Communist Party of Vietnam. Fifteen years after its foundation day, with only 5,000 members and about 20 million people, the Party led the people to successfully make the historic August Revolution in 1945, overthrowing colonial and feudal rule, creating a historic turning point that fundamentally changed the nation’s destiny.

Then, under the Party’s leadership, the entire nation worked together to create a miracle-the renewal that changed the face of the country and the people. Every success of the nation is linked to the sound leadership of the Party. The Party is strong when it is loved, respected, and trusted by the people.

From the very first moments, the program brought a joyful and lively atmosphere to the delegates with a remarkable performance performed by Senior Colonel, People's Artist Vu Tu Long; Lieutenant Colonel, People's Artist Luong Thuy Linh, and artists from the Military Cheo (Vietnamese Popular Opera) Theater.

Next, through a documentary, titled “Finding the Path to Save the Nation,” the program recalled the struggles and determination of President Ho Chi Minh - the great father of the Vietnamese people - in finding a new path to liberate the country and its people from colonial and feudal oppression.

At that time, on his way from Hue to the South, Nguyen Tat Thanh (another name of President Ho Chi Minh) visited his father, Nguyen Sinh Sac, who was working as the chief of Binh Khe district (Binh Dinh province). After informing his father of his intention, he stayed in Binh Dinh for a while, traveling to many places and meeting with various people in Binh Dinh, which was rich in culture, historical events such as the Tay Son Uprising. This deeply influenced the young patriot Nguyen Tat Thanh, motivating him to continue his journey in search of a path to free the nation.

On June 5, 1911, aboard the French ship Admiral La Touche de Tréville at Saigon port, Nguyen Tat Thanh began his 30-year journey to seek a way to liberate the nation, leaving with nothing but his burning desire for national independence and the freedom and happiness of the people.

Faithful to the Party and the People

During the program, participants admired the images of the “Uncle Ho's Soldiers” through the documentaries and performances by artists from the Military University of Culture and Arts, the Military Song and Dance Theater, and the Military Popular Opera Theater. The documentary "Absolute Loyalty to the Party," sharing the heartfelt words of martyrs Nguyen Ngoc Tan and Dang Thuy Tram, left a deep emotional impression on the audience.

These martyrs are the beautiful symbols of Uncle Ho’s Soldiers—loyal to the Party, filial to the people. Today, generations of revolutionary soldiers continue the tradition of absolute loyalty to the Party, the nation, and the people, as they embark on their military service: "We, soldiers of the VPA, pledge under the glorious national flag, to sacrifice everything for the Fatherland, work under the leadership of the Party, strive for a peaceful, independent, democratic, and socialist Vietnam, contributing positively to the world’s struggle for peace, independence, democracy, and socialism."

In the documentary, Defense Minister General Phan Van Giang affirmed that the military must always uphold the ideals of national independence and socialism. It must remain an absolutely loyal and trusted political force of the Party, the State, and the people, a "victorious military," a model in all fields, contributing to defending the nation early and from afar in the new situation. Under any circumstances, the military remains the core, the most steadfast and resilient political force in the struggle to protect the ideological foundation and the Party’s guidelines, safeguard the independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of the Fatherland, and accompany the country confidently into a new era, the era of the nation's rise.

The artistic program aimed to recall the glorious history of the Communist Party of Vietnam, to pay tribute to the generations of revolutionary soldiers, to ignite and nurture the trust and pride of the people towards the Party, and to strengthen national unity.

Talking about the event, Private first class Nguyen Duc Thien from Brigade 26 under the Air Defense - Air Force Service said that through the program, he learned more about the golden pages of the nation’s history, President Ho Chi Minh's thoughts, ethics, and style. “I am proud to be an Uncle Ho’s soldier and more determined to unite with my comrades to study, train, and overcome all difficulties to preserve and enrich the image of Uncle Ho’s soldiers in the hearts of the people.”

Nguyen Long Nhat, a student from the Military University of Culture and Arts, said that he was impressed with the immense sacrifice of President Ho Chi Minh, the Party, and past generations who dedicated their youth and blood to win independence and freedom for current generations. “After watching the documentaries about Uncle Ho’s soldiers, I deeply admire the commitment, responsibility, and contribution of soldiers who not only firmly protect the nation but also stand by the people in times of hardship, natural disasters, and fires. They are shining examples for our youth to follow,” Nhat added.
