PANO - The 2015 National Youth Petanque Championship was kicked of by the Vietnam Petanque Association, in association with the Soc Trang provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in Soc Trang city on August 22nd.

The nine-day event drew 11 teams from localities nationwide to compete in eight categories of men's and women's singles, men's and women's doubles, men's and women's trios, men's and women's techniques.

It aims to evaluate the results of training over the past time and select outstanding young athletes for the national youth petanque team for the next tournaments.
