The signing of the MoU between the Vietnam State Audit Office and the Audit Board of Indonesia took place in Vientiane, Laos, on the sidelines of the fourth ASEAN Supreme Audit Institution Summit (ASEANSAI).

At the signing ceremony, Vietnam’s State Auditor General Ho Duc Phoc said that since both sides established cooperative ties in 1999 and inked a MoU in 2011 in Bali, the two audit institutions have held conferences to exchange experience in fields of mutual interests.
Vietnam hails practical cooperative activities with Indonesia’s audit body, he noted, expressing his hope that the MoU will serve as a catalyst to enhance auditing capacity for the two organizations and contribute to transparent finance management in the region.
