The event introduces 120 photos by artists Nguyen Phung, Giang Son Dong, and Nguyen Manh Hung. These photos were taken during their visit to the Truong Sa archipelago on the occasion of the lunar New Year (Tet) 2024.
This is the first time the Naval Service has allowed photographers from the Ho Chi Minh City Photography Association to visit Truong Sa island district, Khanh Hoa province, together with the naval delegation. This is also the first exhibition on spring in the island district.
On-display photos feature sentiments from the mainland to the island district, and the preparation for Tet of the islanders and troops on the occasion of the traditional holiday. They also showcase the combat readiness of on-duty troops on the islands.
On the occasion, the association also received a national flag on Co Lin Island with signatures of the commanding officers of islands and the head of the delegation.
The event is scheduled to last until March 5.
