13 Vietnamese provinces in the Mekong Delta will introduce their tourism potentials and tourism projects needing investment at the upcoming international tourism investment promotion conference named “Four Countries – One Destination” to be held on September 13th in Ho Chi Minh City.
Earlier, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has decided to list investment promotion in the Mekong Delta as a major content in the conference agenda.
At the conference, tourism and infrastructure projects in the Mekong Delta will be introduced and will be discussed by some 100 potential domestic and international investors.
According to the Organising Board, a number of deals on investment in local tourism will be signed between local authorities and investors and several tourism investment licenses will also be granted during the conference.
In addition to the call for investment in local tourism, the conference will discuss issues related to transportation infrastructure and entertainment services that would facilitate tourism in Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar.
