After three previous editions, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has given the Award to 309 outstanding workers for their remarkable achievements. The selection process for the 4th edition of the Nguyen Duc Canh Award in 2023 was meticulous, focusing on the criteria of having numerous initiatives and technical improvements applied to production, which brought about high economic and social efficiency.

The Standing Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor decided to present the Nguyen Duc Canh Award to 167 exemplary workers, including 63 delegates from state-owned enterprises, 98 delegates from non-state-owned enterprises, and 6 delegates from the armed forces. Additionally, five members of the military’s trade unions were honored with the Nguyen Duc Canh Award in 2023.

In total, 802 projects, initiatives, and technical solutions saving VND 4,793 billion were submitted by individuals to compete for the Award.
