Joined by Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Ha Thi Nga, and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Trinh Viet Hung, the official presented Tet gifts to representatives from 250 deserving families, including those with meritorious service to the nation, poor households and workers from the wards of Yen Bai, Au Lau, Van Phu, Nam Cuong, Yen Binh, Viet Hong and Tran Yen, as well as military personnel and leaders of General Hospital No.1.

Politburo member and standing member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat Tran Cam Tu extends his regards to children currently receiving care at Social Protection Center No.1 in Lao Cai province.

He stressed that the Vietnamese Party and State always uphold the principle of placing the people at the center, considering taking care of both residents' material and spiritual lives the goal and driving force behind national construction, defense and development.

Caring for policy beneficiary families, the poor, workers and disadvantaged groups during Tet remains a consistent policy of the Party and State, he said.

The provincial Party Organization was urged to follow the Secretariat’s directive on the 2026 Lunar New Year activities, ensuring that every household and citizen fully benefits from the Party and the State’s policies.

The same day morning, the delegation visited 94-year-old heroic Vietnamese mother Ha Thi Hao of Thai ethnicity and the family of a 77-year-old wounded soldier.

Tet gifts were also handed over to officials, staff and children at Social Protection Center No.1.
