Four outstanding Vietnamese students will take part in the 9th Hitachi Young Leaders Initiative Forum to be held in Jakarta (Indonesia) from July 7 to 17.

They are Vu Hoang Duong and Nguyen Mai Phuong from the Hanoi Trade University, Nguyen Thanh Thuy from the Vietnam Foreign Affair Academy and Nguyen Thi Huyen Trang from the Ho Chi Minh City Science, Society and Humanity University.

The Hitachi Young Leaders Initiative is launched by Hitachi in Asia in 1996 to identify and nurture potential Asian leaders. The programme is a good chance for young people to exchange their ideas with regional leaders.

This year’s event draws the participation of 28 students from Vietnam, Indonesia, Japan, Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore.
