A program, “For a safe, friendly and healthy environment for children”, will take place in Hanoi from June 1st to 30th.

The program, with various activities, aims to raise people’s awareness of the role and importance of child-protection, care and education in the development of the nation in general and Hanoi in particular.

Accordingly, 100 per cent of districts, departments and industrial companies in the City are asked to participate in the program, to launch “Action month for children in 2011” and to hold interesting activities for children.

Besides, safe and healthy playgrounds for children will be repaired and upgraded with high quality facilities.

Furthermore, the City will provide health check–ups, education and growth opportunities for 100% of needy children in the City.
