Accordingly, they will cooperate in a Bachelor of Aviation Technology program and a Master of International Aviation Transport Management program.
Under the deal, USTH will promote the two programs and enroll students, as well as provide facilities and lecturers to make the programs efficient.
Meanwhile, Vietnam Airlines has pledged to annually recruit 30 graduates from the bachelor program in aeronautical engineering for the air carrier or VAECO in the 2018-2022 period. The airline will choose post-graduates to attend the Master’s program as well.
Vietnam Airlines and VAECO will create favorable conditions for trainees of the two programs, including the provision of practice facilities and instructors.
With the participation of European instructors, the bachelor program is expected to train engineers with B1 and B2 aircraft maintenance certificates issued by the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam. The Master’s program is aimed at developing managers for the aviation sector.
Candidates can apply for the two programs from January next year.
Vietnam Airlines will support Vietnamese and European instructors and executive managers of the programs in air travel between Paris and Hanoi from 2018 to 2023.

The number of domestic air passengers surged by over 130% to 28 million last year over 2012. Vietnam Airlines has welcomed its 200 millionth passenger after more than twenty years of operation.
Particularly, VAECO is a maintenance and engineering subsidiary of Vietnam Airlines and provides line maintenance, fleet management, training, landing gears, engine replacement, and base maintenance services at all airports in Vietnam. The company has met the maintenance and repair requirements for all types of aircraft of Vietnam Airlines and more than 40 international airlines that operate flights to Vietnam.
