Troubled fisherman taken ashore for treatment
PANO – Ship SAR 411 of the Vietnam Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Center safely took ashore a distressed fisherman and 18 other crew-members on September 15.
Earlier, fisherman Dao Van Truong, aged 20, on board of trawler NA 98866 TS, captained by Nguyen Van Ky from Quynh Luu district, Nghe An province, was injured in an accident while fishing about 85 nautical miles off the Northeast of Cua Lo town (Nghe An province). The ship had gone adrift since September 12 due to an engine failure.

After receiving the news, the center sent Ship SAR 411 for the rescue mission.
The rescue ship approached the trawler at 6:42 pm on September 14 and brought the captain and all crew-members to shore.
After receiving first aid from the rescue team, the victim’s health is now in good condition.
