The medical team took foreign sailor ashore for further treatment at the VINMEC Nha Trang Hospital. |
Kaidalov Oleksandr, born in 1992, a Ukrainian mechanic, had a stomach ache. He then suffered from frequent vomiting before losing consciousness. The patient was then diagnosed with acute pancreatitis.
Once receiving the information, the center sent its ship SAR27-01 and a medical squad to the scene for a search and rescue mission.
Because of heavy rains and rough waves, it took the rescue team several hours to reach the cargo vessel.
After performing COVID-19 prevention and control work, the medical team gave the patient first aid and took him ashore for further treatment at the VINMEC Nha Trang Hospital.
