State President praises blood donors’ contributions
PANO – State President Tran Dai Quang has praised and acknowledged great contributions of blood donors across the country on the occasion of the World Blood Donor Day which falls on June 14.

In his letter, the President extended best regards to individuals and groups who have actively participated in blood donation movements, affirming that their deeds will make great contributions to improving public health.
He emphasized that blood donation is a noble humanitarian deed which shows people’s responsibility for the society. Over the past time, a series of movements, festivals, and models have been developed, attracting active participations of people across the country. Blood donated from various drives, such as “Red Spring Festival”, Red Journey”, “Gratitude drop of blood” helped save many lives, making contributions to boosting the beautiful tradition of caring for one another of the Vietnamese people.
The State President asked local Party Committees, authorities, and agencies to promote their leadership in strengthening blood donation and develop more activities to appeal more participation of troops and people in blood donation drives for a better and healthier society in the coming time.
