Military Medical School holds blood donation program
PANO – The Military medical College No. 1, in association with the Military Hospital 103, hold the second voluntary blood donation drive in 2017 on May 14, a practical activity in celebration of the President Ho Chi Minh's 127th birthday.

Accordingly, the school organized many activities of disseminating information and implemented policies toward blood donors, such as thanks and commendations, and other kinds of encouragement, which have received positive feedback from its officers and cadets.
In 2016, the whole school actively participated in blood donation drives and collected 451 blood units for surgery and treatment of patients in Military Hospital 103.
Addressing the event, Colonel Ngo Tuan Anh, the school’s Deputy Commissar, highlighted the significance of the event.
He also urged that officers, youths should uphold good traditions of the nation and the blood donation movement of the school, contributing to fostering ethics of physicians and improving the effectiveness of treatment and care for soldiers and people in the coming time.
At the end of the event, nearly 500 blood units were collected.
