Scholarships granted to the outstanding students

The event was part of a program launched by the Vietnam Young Talent Support Fund under the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee and implemented by the Tien Phong Newspaper.

Each scholarship, including VND 10 million in cash and valuable gifts, was expected to encourage the students to achieve higher academic records in the 2020-2021 academic year.

Apart from the ceremony, the laureates had chance to visit popular tourism sites in Ho Chi Minh City such as the Independence Palace and Vincom Landmark 81 Tower, as well as exchange with psychologists, students, and teachers of the Sai Gon Technology University.

Reportedly, the program has honored and given scholarships to over 300 students since its establishment 5 years ago.
