The training course sees the participation of more than 100 lecturers from Asian countries, namely Vietnam, India, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Sri Lanka.

According to Mr. Victor Stepanov, Director of the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Hanoi, the course consists of two phases. The first took place via the online format from November 14 to December 1. The second is held in Hanoi on December 5-7.

During the course, trainees exchange and share Russian teaching methods, and learn about achievements in teaching the Russian language, among others.

Mr. Victor Stepanov also underlined that Russia has paid much attention to popularizing and raising the position of the Russian language and educational system in foreign countries.

On the sidelines of the course, an exhibition on Russian teaching materials and methods is held at the center.
