The program was jointly held by the Youth Union Organization, Vietnamese Students’ Association, Student Support Center of Ho Chi Minh City and Thanh nien (Youth) newspaper.

Themed “Spring coach - Tet of reunion,” the program was part of a wide range of activities to help disadvantaged students and laborers in Ho Chi Minh City to return home in provinces from Binh Thuan to Thanh Hoa to enjoy Tet.

Launched in 2002, the program has supported nearly 59,000 needy students and other laborers to reunite with their families in the home towns to welcome a warm Tet holiday. This meaningful event has given strength to students and laborers to rise in life.

The same day, the Student Support Center of Ho Chi Minh City  held a get-together for students welcoming Tet far from home, during which 2,000 Tet gifts, worth VND 1.8 billion in total, were presented to needy students.

Below are several photos of the event.
