An online exchange on policies for victims of toxic chemicals used by the US during the war in Vietnam will be held in mid-April, according to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.

The exchange will be hosted by Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Pham Khoi Nguyen and Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan.

The event aims to provide social-welfare beneficiaries and the general public with information on the Party and State’s polices for victims of toxic chemicals used by the US during the war in Vietnam.

After the online exchange, the Office of National Steering Committee 33 will continue to receive people’s queries on the issue. All queries and replies will be posted on the websites of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and the steering committee.

Earlier, the committee conducted a fact-finding tour of more than 30 provinces and cities nationwide to learn more about the implementation of the Party’s polices as well as the real situation of Agent Orange/dioxin victims.
