Afterwards, delegates and participating youths lit local roads, organized a sea clean-up, and planted mangroves in the areas between Rach Tau Bridge and Rach Vam Bridge in Dat Mui commune. They also toured the Ca Mau Cape tourist site and experienced the cultural space of Don ca tai tu Nam Bo (Southern amateur singing) at the site.

The “I love my motherland” journey is a VYF’s key activity in celebrating the eighth national congress of the VYF for the 2019-2024 period and in realizing the “I love my motherland” movement. The ongoing journey has practical, and creative activities to draw the participation of thousands of youths nationwide.

The VYF Central Committee hoped that the journey will encourage young generations to bring into full play their vanguard spirit, creativity, and patriotism to learn more about national tradition, as well as to contribute to national socio-economic development and national construction and protection causes.

The next destinations of the journey will be in Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang city and the provinces of Nghe An, Khanh Hoa, Dien Bien, and Ha Giang.

A meeting to review the journey will be held in Hanoi on December 10 on the eve of the eighth VYF national congress.
