The “One million national flags for fishermen” and the “Pride of national flags” programs have handed over a million of national flags to fishermen. |
According to Mr. Nguyen Duc Cuong, Deputy Director of Thanh Hoa provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, the gifts were a source of encouragement for local fishermen to overcome their difficulties and continue their work and production, contributing to firmly safeguarding national sovereignty over sea and islands.
By October 10, the “One million national flags for fishermen” and the “Pride of national flags” programs launched by the Laborer Newspaper had presented more than 1.2 million national flags to fishermen in localities stretching from the North to the South of Vietnam.
