Reportedly since its launch in January this year, HCYU chapters across the country have held more than 8,000 talk shows and seminars on learning and following President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morals and style with the participation of over 1.2 million of their members. They implemented around 32,000 youth facilities and contributed millions of working days to building public projects.

Since June this year, nearly 1.8 million youth union members have participated in social activities within the framework of the movement. Via these activities, 35,000 outstanding students who had made achievements in various fields were commended and rewarded.

During the event, audiences were entertained with special artistic performances praising the Party and President Ho Chi Minh and highlighting the self-confidence and determination of Vietnamese youths to follow Uncle Ho’s examples and teachings in order to contribute to the national construction and defense cause.

In his speech, Thuong highly valued the HCYU Central Committee’s organization of the meaningful and practical movement, adding that Vietnamese youths should further promote the vanguard spirit, always be present at the forefront, improve their political stance, fight against social vices and contribute to the national modernization and industrialization.
