More care for pandemic-hit children
PANO – The program “Bringing Tet to children” took place on January 25 with numerous meaningful activities, especially to take care of 10 needy families whose children are orphaned because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The program, co-held by the Supporting Center for Students and Pupils in Ho Chi Minh City and Thien Long Group, aimed to help the families repair and decorate their houses to welcome the lunar New Year (Tet) festival. The orphaned children received gifts, worth from VND 5 to 10 million each, from the organizers. In addition, the organizing panel handed over desks, bookcases, and learning tools to them.

According to the representative of the Thien Long Group, the program focused on meeting the essential needs of the orphaned children and bring a happy and cozy Tet atmosphere to all families.
The program was part of the “Spring from millions of hearts” program, which was held to contribute to taking care of needy students and pupils during Tet festival. On the occasion, the Supporting Center for Students and Pupils in Ho Chi Minh City gave 1,000 gifts to students in the city.
