The contest has created a positive social impact, spreading widely in the community, attracting many participants from all walks of life. Many participants from rural and remote regions, where the effects of post-war mines and explosive remnants are still significant, have helped to raise awareness about preventing post-war bomb and mine accidents in Vietnam, building habits of actively learning, understanding, and living safely in areas still contaminated with mines and explosive remnants of war.
The contest aims to further promote information dissemination and raise awareness of mine and explosive remnants of war prevention among all Vietnamese people.
The participants are Vietnamese citizens who can use computers and other smart electronic devices to take the online exam, except for officials, civil servants, and staff of Office 701, VNMAC, and organizations inside and outside the country operating in the field of addressing the consequences of mines left by the war in Vietnam.
Participants will take the online exam on the website of the Vietnam National Mine Action Center at http://thitructuyen.vnmac.gov.vn/.
Each participant can take the exam multiple times, but only the most accurate result among the attempts will be recognized. The exam consists of 15 multiple-choice questions to be completed within 30 minutes.
The organizers will award 16 prizes with a total value of up to VND 39 million. This includes one first, two second, three third, and 10 encouragement prizes.
The summary and award ceremony is scheduled to take place in May 2024.
