According to the ranking, the Electrical - Electronic Engineering and Mechanical, Aeronautical and Manufacturing Engineering subjects of Hanoi University of Science and Technology both climbed up 100 places and were ranked in the group of 301-350 best in the world.

Meanwhile, the Computer Science and Information Systems subject places in the 401-450 group in the world, up 150 places in comparison to last year.

This was the first time that the Mathematics subject of Hanoi University of Science and Technology topped in No.1 in Vietnam and 351-400 in the world.

In addition, the Materials Science subject has been ranked for the first time but has taken the highest position among universities in Vietnam and in the 401-410 group in the world.

Besides, the school's Engineering and Technology was placed 360th in the world and No.1 in Vietnam.

The achievements affirm the renovation of the university over the past time, contributing to enhancing the school’s prestige in the country and the world.

Earlier, the university was also in the group of 281-290 of the best universities in Asia according to the QS Asia 2022 rankings, up 20 places compared to the previous year.
