The classroom project was part of the "Cannon Friendship School Chain" project with the aim of implementing four sustainable development goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations and Vietnam.

From 2022, together with the project "Canon friendship school chain," Canon Vietnam has cooperated with Youth Union organizations in districts to conduct dissemination and consultation activities to raise students and their parents’ awareness of healthcare and protection, child drowning and dengue fever prevention, women’s reproductive health, among others.

The Cannon - Ella - Na Pu B friendship kindergarten includes one classroom, a room for teachers and a WC, with a total area of 73.2 square meters.

Along with providing financial support for the construction of the kindergarten, Cannon Vietnam presented 30 gifts, worth around VND 380 million in total, to students and 140 mosquito nets to local people.

On behalf of the teachers and students, the headmistress of the school sincerely thanked Canon Vietnam Co., Ltd. and the Ella Charitable Fund for their support, underlining that the new classroom will bring great happiness and a motivation to both teachers and students to gain better results in learning and studying.

With the purpose of improving the study environment for teachers and students, the project “Canon Friendship Schools” hopes to receive more support from the community, volunteers and authorities to conduct more meaningful activities for children in need across the country.
