Da Nang municipal Youth Union launches youth month in 2025

The city’s chapter of Youth Union launches six voluntary youth teams.

Speaking at the event, Secretary of the Da Nang municipal Youth Union Le Cong Hung highlighted the significance of the youth month program. He said that the Youth Month 2025 is an opportunity for young people to show patriotism and social responsibility and develop their potential through significant projects, contributing to creating positive changes and spread beautiful values in the community.

At the ceremony, the Da Nang municipal Youth Union chapter set the target to support the demolition of 15 temporary and dilapidated houses in the city; plant 20,000 trees, restore and present 200 portraits of fallen soldiers, build 28 "Safe and Civilized School Gates" projects, train at least 2,000 new Youth Union members, and give assistance to 2,000 disadvantaged children. The city’s Youth Union Organization will also foster training to ensure that at least 100 outstanding youth members are admitted to the Communist Party of Vietnam.

Also at the event, the Da Nang municipal Youth Union set up six volunteer youth teams and organized practical activities to contribute to the socio-economic development of the city and building a clean, modern, and civilized Da Nang.

After the ceremony, the Da Nang municipal Youth Union and its affiliated units initiated various activities, such as: "Presenting Portraits of Fallen Soldiers" to families in Da Nang and "Supporting the Removal of Temporary and Dilapidated Houses" in Hai Chau district.
