AO victims overcome fate
PANO - Although the war ended nearly a half century ago, Vietnam is still suffering from the aftermath of Agent Orange (AO)/dioxin sprayed by the U.S. military.
With strong will, many AO victims have overcome their misfortune to become useful citizens. The People’s Army Newspaper would like to introduce some photos featuring good examples.

Pham Thanh Xuan from Bao Ha commune, Bao Yen district, Lao Cai province, is a wounded soldier and an AO victim. He got over the difficulties and has become the Director of Thanh Xuan Mountain Bee Development Co., Ltd., and Chairman of Thanh Phong agricultural co-operative. |

Nguyen Thuan Tung, aged 29, comes from Ea Hu commune, Cu Kuin district, Dak Lak province. Although he is only 70cm tall and weighs 18kg, he is currently the Director of Thuan Tung One Member Trading Service Company Limited. |
