Organizers also held a ceremony to honor outstanding clubs and groups with great contributions to blood donation and other voluntary activities for the community and the COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control.

The highlights of the event included a space introducing voluntary programs and projects of different units, a ceremony to see off the second quick-response team sent to Soc Trang to support the province in its pandemic prevention and control and the launch of Social Work Teams of districts.

The program also included a space for local volunteer associations, clubs and groups to meet and exchange.

Apart from the city level event, districts in the city also held various activities in response to the event. Key activities included events, themed “Volunteer for a civilized – clean – sentimental city,” held at residential areas and parks in districts, and visits to nursing homes for children.
