PANO – Vietnam will host the 97th Esperanto Festival (UK97) from July 28th to August 4th, 2012, a press conference revealed on October 26th in Hanoi.
The festival, “Esperanto-a bridge for peace, friendship and development”, will be a great event with the participation of over 1,000 representatives from 60 countries from all over the world.
The UK 97 will be an excellent opportunity for Vietnam to introduce and promote its nation and people as well as to offer thanks to the global Esperanto community for their assistance in national protection and development.
During the festival, there will be interesting activities on tourism and culture. More importantly, the Vietnam Esperanto Festival will also publish two Esperanto books: “Dang Thuy Tram’s Diary” and “The Kieu Story”.
