The results of the Party's inspection, supervision, and discipline enforcement tasks in 2024 showed that Party committees at all levels have inspected 55,075 Party organizations and 308,028 Party members. Of the total, 1,709 organizations and 6,058 members have shown shortcomings or violations. As a result, 35 organizations and 189 members have to be disciplined, in which disciplinary measures have been imposed on seven organizations and 136 members.
The Party committees at all levels have also conducted inspections when there were signs of violations against 344 Party organizations and 2,379 Party members. Among those, 233 organizations have committed violations, and 98 have to be disciplined, with disciplinary measures already imposed on 71. There are 1,934 Party members found to have violated rules, 1,326 of whom have to be disciplined, and 1,210 have been already disciplined.
The inspection commissions at all levels have conducted inspections when there were signs of violations against 3,133 Party organizations and 8,123 Party members. Following the inspections, 2,228 organizations and 6,685 members have been found committing violations. As a result, 262 organizations and 2,716 members have to be disciplined, and disciplinary measures have been imposed on 191 Party organizations and 2,345 Party members.
They have also monitored the implementation of inspection and supervision tasks for 33,546 Party organizations. Results revealed that 1,854 Party organizations have not performed well the inspection and supervision tasks; 1,574 Party organizations have not effectively led and directed the implementation of these duties, and 518 others do not have inspection and supervision programs.
Regarding the directions for 2025, Standing Vice Chairman of the Party Central Committee’s Inspection Commission Tran Van Ron stated that there will be a timely improvement of procedures related to the Party's disciplinary systems to ensure consistency with the new Party organization model to better meet the requirements of the tasks set out.
