PANO - The Ministry of Public Security on October 29th held a conference to strengthen international cooperation on preventing high-tech crimes, which have threatened social order and security.

The event drew the participations of many cyber security experts from the UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and the European Cyber Crime Centre (EC3) and representatives of specialized agencies from countries around the world.

The conference, the first of its kind in Vietnam, aimed to boost international joint efforts in exchanging information and cooperation among countries for high-tech crime investigation, based on equality and mutual respect of each other’s national interests.

During the two-day conference, delegates shared up-to-date information on cyber crimes and exchanged experiences in cyber crime investigations. They also discussed measures to remove legal barriers as well as collaboration mechanisms on preventing high-tech crimes.
