In an interview with the Vietnam News Agency in Phnom Penh, Dr. Heng emphasized that enhancing officials’ capacities goes beyond ethics and professional skills - it also involves effectively harnessing each individual’s potential. He highlighted the importance of human resources, especially Party members and officials, to strengthening the CPV’s leadership, as well as the political system's commitment to Party rectification and the ongoing fight against corruption. He hopes that further improvements can be made in the recruitment, utilization, and evaluation of officials.

Dr. Heng also suggested the Party create more opportunities for young officials who think big, act bold, and dare to bear responsibility.

Looking ahead, as the country stands on the threshold of the new era, he expressed hope that the CPV will build a contingent of officials who remain connected to reality and are equipped to tackle emerging challenges. This will ensure that Vietnam continues its sustainable development and achieves its aspirations for prosperity in the 21st century.
