The explosions, which occurred in Beirut and other regions, resulted in significant casualties. However, the Vietnamese community in Lebanon has not reported any injuries. There are 11 Vietnamese nationals working and studying in Lebanon, mostly in Beirut and neighboring areas.

The embassy is continuing to monitor the situation closely, maintaining constant communication with the Vietnamese citizens to provide assistance.

Vietnamese citizens have been advised to leave Lebanon if their presence is not essential. For those who cannot depart, the embassy recommends heightened caution, including avoiding crowded areas. In case of emergency, Vietnamese nationals are encouraged to contact the Vietnamese Embassy in Egypt and Lebanon (+201026139869), the office of the Honorary Consul of Vietnam in Lebanon (+96170229300), or the Citizen Protection Hotline (+84 981848484).

Lebanese officials have reported that the explosions have claimed at least 26 lives and injured more than 3,200 people across the country over the past two days. The United Nations Security Council is expected to convene on September 19 to discuss the situation, with the meeting scheduled for 3:00 p.m. U.S. time (2:00 a.m. September 20, Vietnam time).
